On July 25-26, 2009 Olympic Gold Medalist, Pat Powers will conduct a two-day volleyball clinic at Bladium Sports Club. The clinic is for junior and adult players. Coach Powers states: "Unlike other camps, this clinic is very technique oriented. I have develop a curriculum that OVER-CORRECTS flaws and weaknesses in your game. I don't teach you how to play volleyball, I teach you how to teach yourself to play the game. I have spent nineteen years playing at the highest level and the last six coaching. I have developed a program that enables both the junior and advanced player to learn in a comfortable non-intimidating environment."

A coaches clinic features John Kessel of USA Volleyball for coaches of all levels and experience. An adult camp of all abilities features Butch May, a former U.S. Olympian and beach standout. The third camp is designed for youth ages 11-17. The staff is headed by Butch May and Shelley Boling, former Canadian Junior National Team setter. All camps utilize the Residential facilities at Fort Lewis College.
